Long time, no see...

How is everyone?
It feels like years since I've blogged.

Here's what I've been doing:
Eating too much.
Feeling cold.
Tapping my fingers waiting for spring to get here.
Writing.
Painting.
Drawing.
The last three were done in front of my space heater.

So other than being very crabby about winter, here are some of the things I made:

These little Halloween paintings are 2 inches square.

This one is a smidge bigger.

I'm playing with adding poly clay faces to fabric dolls.

Spooky girls, right? The bottom two have upholstery tacks for eyes (ouch). And I used glass beads for the teeth. I always feel like a doll dentist when I do that.

Okay, back to the freezing laboratory I go.
We have had too much winter!
I blame the groundhog.

  1. Yay, Pam is back!! Love everything you have been doing. Especially like the smidge bigger painting. Tall and lean and spooky. I just bought some clay today. Don't yet know what it will become, but faces are always a possibility since I love them so. Don't be such a stranger, I have missed you here!

    1. Hi Annie! Well, at least one of us is losing weight. :) I would love to go hiking. I miss being in the West a lot. Sob. And I would happily send you Winter, but you'd get tired of it in a couple of weeks.

  6. Hi Pam. It certainly has been a while since we've connected. I've had company here at the house for over a month. They are all gone now since Wednesday and I am in "catch up with everything" mode. You've been keeping busy making sweet little art paintings. Love them. I've done some journaling but I'm ready to paint now. And, I agree.... it is time for Winter to be on its way!!!!! Can't wait to see some green sprouts!! xxoo

I just rewrote my Kanga book for...the 3rd time?
or if you count rewrites, that would make 5.
But I'm actually happy with it, finally.
    Now for the illustrations!

  11. I've been doing what you've been doing except not as well :-)

Those teeth are a hoot! Not quite sure about the poly clay faces tho: will they snuggle as well in the middle of a cold night? I think of these things because your dolls bring my comfort to the stratosphere ;/)

    Love love

    1. Hi KJ! No, these girls are not snuggly. But they do serve as lovely house protectors. Sending out warning juju to keep bad things at bay. And they are very fun to make. :)

  12. Hello, helloooo!!! Why, hello! It's so good to see you again! Poor Mr. Groundhog. You know, his track record is worse than chance, so I think he is doing this out of spite.

I LOVE your teeny tiny paintings! How fun it would be to have an entire space filled with your tiny Halloween paintings. And the clay faces! Oooooh!!! Completely tickles me inside and out. The teef!!!! Your space by the heater must be the funnest space in the house.

    Stay warm!

    1. Hi Jan! You can call me Doc. :) And the dental work is such fun. I have a small obsession with smiles and toothy things. I'm so glad you're getting signs of spring...we all need it, don't we?

they are all wonderful and full of Pam-Love and fun...we had a nice day today,
but I am not getting my hopes up just yet. Did you make Spring mad too, along with your computer?
