My phone and my laptop dislike me...

I must have offended them in some way, because my phone has decided it doesn't want to put the pictures I take into my photo stream.  The IT department at Smallcomb, Inc. (that would be my long-suffering DH) is working the problem.

Here is the one photo that was uploaded:

It's my super tidy and organized desk top.
I've been writing and doodling and finishing up the spot art for my middle grade novel.

I hope you are all well and warm and that your computers and phones and internet and Netflix are all playing together nicely.

Now I'm going to go smile at my phone and my laptop, so they'll know I like them.
Over and out.

  1. Cute post, Pam, and at one time or another I'm sure we all can relate. How great your hubby can work on this! I am loving the drawling of little lady in the middle of your photo. :)

    1. Hi Barb! The weirdest thing is that it was all working nicely and then it just stopped. I am very lucky that the DH is a tech person. And thank you about the drawing - she's a skellie lady (of course). xo

  2. Hi Pam. Sounds like you've been busy. I like your fancy doodles as they always turn out to be magnificent. Hope you have been well Pam, and that the year is going good for you. Take care of yourself.:)

  3. Been missing you , ms prudie1.

Are you sure being nice is the way to go with these electronic problem children? Maybe you should take away their spellcheck privileges....

  4. The other day my computer wouldn't connect. It said that I had to "turn on" my wireless with the switch on front or on the side of my laptop OR on the keys. I tell you I was freaking out and I spent a good hour trying to find a "switch" and I was also upset because I wasn't able to Google it. Luckily my niece stopped by and looked it up on her phone.
(It was as simple as holding down FN and F8,)
Jeez! I about had a brain hemorrhage over it...so I feel your pain.
(Don't get me started about phones! Ha!)
I love what I can see so far on your illustrations!

I as thinking of you last week, I saw a video that you would like.
    I'll email you the link!

    1. A kindred spirit! I have this feeling that if left to my own devices (pun!) I would quickly be writing with pencils and paper and reading books. Which might not be so bad...:) xo

  5. Sometimes my phone likes me and sometimes it goes on strike! My DH is hopeless with computer stuff so I muddle thru myself. Ah well....

    1. You are a brave woman. :) I try to figure things out, and sometimes I get lucky, but most of the time I consult the Smallcomb IT Dept. xo

  6. PamPamPam!!! I love everything you are working on! My Bad Alice and her Mad Hatter got me a Droid for Christmas (and put me on their plan, which apparently is to manage ME). For the first week it would not recognize that I was a living person...every time it would ring, it would say, oh no, you are not a human and not answer! So I had to call everyone back. Apparently I am of the living now :)

    1. Deb - hahaha! Oh my. I hope Droid is behaving now, and is over his/her snit. As for having children manage us...mine will have their hands full. :) xo

    1. Hi Marianne! I have no idea. And we've all been busy with one thing or the other, and I keep forgetting to ask the in-house IT guy to look at it again. :)

  10. I hope by now things are sorted out and working properly again. It is probably due to the weather. I love clicking on your picture and looking in all the corners and seeing your stuff. You have a parakeet! and a little fawn! and you use craft paints and take notes on things and draw such cool faces and ideas! Are those big drawers full of loose beads? Stay warm!
