Isn't it weird how after you've sweltered for a few days, and the temps fall down into the 80s it feels cool? I walked out of a coffee shop the other day with a friend, and we remarked how chilly it was. NOT THAT I AM COMPLAINING. Heck, no. Bring on the chilly.
I'm back in poly clay mode, and thinking about Halloween (big surprise). I made this little doll the other day. I love these little ones, there is something so sweet about the size. She's about 5 inches tall (lying down).
There are more, patiently waiting to be baked and painted. And they are being watched over by two that I have kept because they told me to.
Next week my oldest is coming home. I haven't seen him in almost a year. So there will be lots of reconnecting and hugging (at least on my part). I hope you're all having heaps of summer fun: road trips, popsicles, pools, wiggling toes in beach sand, iced tea, wine on the deck, days sprinkled with lots of friends and family. And I hope it doesn't get one degree above the mid-80s.
