I expect the Wicked Witch to pop by any minute. It is a'blowin out there. I walked to the mailbox and my hair flew out in all directions, scaring a frog that was sitting in the driveway.
Yes, a frog. A FROG. In January. And I saw a wasp. Pretty strange goings on here, nature-wise. We are usually covered with the white stuff right around now.
Maybe that is why I am sewing weird little dolls. Here is my latest batch.

On another topic, anyone else out there feeling like a sandwich? I don't mean eating one, I mean feeling like you are one. Like you're being squeezed by opposing forces? Like you need to be cloned big time?
I was talking to a friend about this. She said she is a bologna on white bread.
Maybe I am a cheese panini, since they get squished and grilled.
Now I am hungry. I will go make tea and sandwiches. The Wicked Witch should be here any minute now. I wonder what kind of sandwich she is? I bet it has anchovies on it. Or squid. Or whale blubber and bugs. Possibly a frog. We'll see.

Love the dolls! And yes I feel like a very squished PB&J sandwich right now.
ReplyDeleteAll God's creatures are confused...one day we have temperatures in the 50's and the next down in the teens! I love the dolls...they just make you smile. The winds are wicked here in Ohio also! Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
ReplyDeleteWell, I don't feel squished; more like sauteed and flambeed....LOL! And my innards creak when I lean over, so I think this qualifies me as the Wicked Witch, and yes, I *would* like anchovies on my sandwich please!!!
ReplyDeletePart of it is the time of year, part these roller coaster weather changes. I give.
I want to go someplace warm.
With libations.
Bring your dollies and they can enjoy the sun too!
XXOO~~♥

ReplyDeleteI just always see things that are told to me so now I see you with your hair in all wind directions between 2 sandwiches and cheese on your back.
No wonder you have fantasy enough to create such awesome dolls!!!!! (love that last one)
You stay inside and don't let the Wicked Witch find you :)
Des superbes poupées!...
ReplyDeleteGros bisous
haha, i'm like marianne, love that picture of you scaring that poor frog (you didnt really silly, it was the wind!)
ReplyDeletewe have it here too, and summer weather! i would really like nice wintery temps instead, but ah well.
no more sandwich feeling for me, i am more like a simmering pot of soup. it's nice really. your newest creations are AmAzInG!
Meh, weather around here is about normal, warm and warmer, however, today it's blowing which means a front is literally blowing through..and temps have dropped to the lower 50's...I can live with that except for the real estate exchange with New Mexico and Mexico!! LOL
ReplyDeleteLet's see, what kind of sandwich am I?? The kind that's left in a lunch bag, in a crowded locker over a period of a school semester. What kind is that?? Who the hell knows at this point!! LOL
Love your little darklings!! And give that poor, lost frog a fly sandwich..he's got to be hungry!!
xxoo,
Georgina
Love your new dolls Pam! As for feeling like a sandwich - oh yeah, one that has been dropped on the floor and then stepped on!
DeleteHugs
I love the Skelly bead-teeth. That cracked me up.
ReplyDeleteOh goodie blogger has decided to let me comment again :-).
ReplyDeleteI love all your new dolls.
Weather here is warmer than usual and a lot less snow. Easier to drive, but I miss it just the same.
Kiss that dear frog for me will ya, and if he turns into a prince give him my phone # :-).
xoxo
P.S. Yes, a sandwich, maybe two or four.xoxo
ReplyDeletei have not left a comment because i've been thinking of what sandwich to be. it's come down to peanut butter and marshmellow. the marshmellow part is all too obvious but the peanut butter is that i stick around and if i'm cornered i can stick it to whomever. plus i whisper and carry a big stick.
ReplyDeletemy favorite doll is dressed in black and white with the best tights and such a dainty lace skirt. are you a fashion designer too, pam? :^)
all that aside, i understand the sandwich. i don't know how you manage to do what you do.
love
kj
Mmmm, stick a tomato and some pesto on ya and I think I'll gobble you up!
ReplyDeleteYou've got a fantastic group growing there! Heeheehee, I love their eyes. And those teef! I feel like they could all break out in song at any moment and start dancing. Wouldn't that be something!

Love,
Lulu~*xoxo
I hear there is some weird weather going on around the country. I am so ready for spring-- the seed catalogs are starting to show up in my mail box...and it is only January...
ReplyDeleteHi Pam!
ReplyDeleteI am really losing my mind - I thought I had posted here. Sorry to be so late and having little to no brain or memory these days. SHEESH.
Hope you have not been swept up in a mighty wind gust! Sorry to hear you're a sandwich - you accomplish so very much - AHA! I think I've hit on the formula - you must be one of those sandwich people who function best under pressure (panini press pressure hahahhaha),'cause you get more done than any ten people I know.
Loving all your dollies, so much fun!
Happy happy weekend,
Sally xoxoxox
i love you, pam.
ReplyDeletejust saying.....
Let's try frog legs! Not only feeling like a sandwich, but everyone taking a bite and not, liking it. Which would mean they're pickers?
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go have a sandwich now...
